Cat killer still on the loose: two more cats dead in Yishun in 2018

In February 2018, two more community cats were found dead in Yishun, prompting media to note the killer or killers remained at large nearly three years after the 2015 series. On 20 February a cat was found dead in a carpark at Block 367 Yishun Ring Road, its head in a pool of blood. Around the same time, a cat was found dead at a second-floor stairwell of Block 147 Yishun Street 11, its hind legs twisted unnaturally and a trail of blood on the staircase — injuries the Cat Welfare Society said leaned towards possible abuse. The cases were reported by the Yishun 326 Tabby Cat group; the then-AVA investigated but no perpetrator was identified.
